  1. Yes and no. Conceptuly yes but practically no as it impedes what i like to do a lot and leaves snow and ice around there-after because of how the map updates but i deal with it. We are planning to move our home to a new map and i want to play on a Warm start for what the seed offers versus what the temprarte one does and my friend is less keen on it as he likes winter (however he also tends to not go anywhere beyond the local grounds most of the time anyway)
  2. That its not actually needed because of whole raft of things. Maybe they will add them maybe they wont, the game doeant "need them", YOU want them that's all.
  3. All the lead ive ever found has been grabbed from visble on the surface desposits as ive been exporing (and i use a lot of lead with lanterns)
  4. Place it far enough away that they cant jump the fence from it but its still in reach of you to use from outside the fence or the other one i use is its embeded in the ground under the fence so is accessable that way aswell (use this one a lot with the Rams/ early gen sheep). You'll want airlocks in the main walkway espescially with pigs as they just love to phase thru fences anyway.
  5. The game is three mods in a trenchcoat and the key with mods is to only update as you see fit, unless what the game update has in it fixes or adds something you really need now.
  6. Nope. map is good. map is life. Waypoints save on endless packed dirt pillars to mark interesting things (and VS has many interesting things). Minimap less so but still useful.
  7. Sitting on it in a massive reserve. I've never considred using it for compost fuel. Recently we've been letting hides rot aswell because we have so much leather and i tend to come back with heap anytime i go out for a walk.
  8. Its rather easy to get a lot of rot once you are established with berries
  9. Uh, i wasn't aware that there was a issue with them.
  10. We have had something similar but with no worldgen mods, its a old world so that might be the cause but world gen has stopped completely past old exploration points and the DB prune and even Wgen commands resulted in large holes that didnt regen. Also some of the player modified area's did vanish. We reset to the backup and have decided that Copy pasting our estate to a new world is the best outcome.
  11. Terra Preta is worth it for small scale things like a Pumpkin patch or select green houses, mass flax farming for example isnt what you use it for. Its good that HQ soil is just rare out in the world. The save im back on now has several stacks of Terra Preta left over from when it was the rare find but it never made sense that it was findable and that HQ was craftable.
  12. Another Block game in the wall
  13. Two. From Golden Combs and Immersive Corpse drop. But we are also considering others maybe.
  14. Pie ~ Grain and something else. Bread for convenience when traveling and long term storage however. Have not made porridge, if im cooking on the fire im cooking bulk stew.
  15. Berries. Havent bothered with fruit trees yet and just pick local apples. We go the OG server back and pears allll the pears aswell as the berries and some apples. Cherry trees didnt take sadly and nothing else has been found yet
  16. Well geared Blackguard
  17. Alien Big Cat
  18. ABCs get seen every where so why not VS
  19. when winter comes, then you wait till spring and go back out and keep looking for the darn thing sporadically in between doing other things, the first world one i found was by accident while narrowing down where iron was this one is proving to be a pain.
  20. Maybe when its closer to "done"
  21. From what i recall ~ no you need something under the Rooftiles (i used to use stairs) or have a ceiling
  22. All types of fruit for related cakes or close approximations there of.
  23. Then they are not worth having if they have to be bribed to play X game. People who like something will find it and enjoy it and some people only will play what their shepherd plays and that herd is often not worth the bother of having's attention
