Shattering an item during quenching should drop bits

simple fix: just add them into the list of things that can be put in a bloomery -
Said bits can then be re-melted in a bloomery. Bit yield should be 50-80% of material invested in making the item.

Having Keepinventory enabled is perfectly reasonable with how much grinding is required to progress in this game, as losing a set of armor and bags is devastating until lategame. (additional reasoning below, contains spoilers for main story!)

Black Bronze is reasonably easy to get if you find a good quartz vein with silver/gold in it, just bomb it out, get 2 of each, and then come back for the rest with black bronze pick.

Welp, time to go though the starve-respawn-starve cycle until crops start growing. Berries went from A to F tier as terms of farmable food, same tier as fruit trees, but somehow worse. Not gonna even bother with this system.

Using Rustbound Magic (mod), I have raised the generation of all of my musk oxes to gen 3, but they keep running away, and thus, they are too stressed to be milked. Is this a mod issue or am i just dumb? Pic attached is my setup

Were you low on temporal stability? Sometimes when you have a low temporal stability all the spawning rules go out the window and higher-tier mobs spawn
