Honorable mention is by the 0.6 GPA students who use it to coast by at school/college.

Were you low on temporal stability? Sometimes when you have a low temporal stability all the spawning rules go out the window and higher-tier mobs spawn

Black Bronze: an alternative for the tin-deficient seraph

Thanks, will update! -
Thanks!

There's a mod for that, but yeah, it would be nice to have in base game.

if you don't regularly use bows, they just tend to accumulate in your chests. This would give you a new source of bonemeal for Terra Preta

I spawned like 500 traders in my creative base but now I can't get rid of em.

like the other block game's elytra rockets

I have, in desperation after living in a low fertility dirt area (Closest patch of medium was 2k blocks away, which I only discovered 1 month away from winter) survived winter off a few dozen 50L barrels of various wines and beers + whatever else I got. Which is another reason I object to this change. If you don't spawn in a spot with good soil, regular farming is screwed. To farm, you either have to travel to find a new base, travel to get medium fertility, or you delete and retry for a better world. If berries are subject to this, then even that is gone.

Ok, one disaster at a time 1. Ruined torch holders better not replace or make the current aged torch holders even more rare. Looking for them is literally the best reason to go caving early game because they are the best way to get permanent light at that point (Yes, oil lamps exist, but they are way too dim.) 2. Berry bushes... I don't even know where to start. Nerfed to oblivion. Fertilizer is already a pain to get. Cuttings are going to have a seemingly 110% death rate. 6-12 months means little to no more early game berry farms. By the time you get a bush to mature, you have probably made a farm to surpass any gains from berries.

For when you don't have a lot of linen for a windmill early game Very good idea.

Just some questions about what comes beyond steel
InternetDragon replied to DitaDataDita's topic in Discussion
Meteoric steel I know it's a modded thing but since meteoric iron is better in durability than regular iron, that same effect should carry on to steel made from it. No increase in power, but just a big durability boost -
As stated by above, you can do some things with a chisel. If you want to dip your toes into mods, https://mods.vintagestory.at/destroyeverthing has most of what your looking for. Sometimes causes (as far as I know) harmless errors with other mods

As it says in the title. For this, you would need several components. - Rope (Needs to be replaced occasionally) -Handle (1 stick with 1 resin) -Stone pulverizer (Crafted with 3 whole stone blocks [must be a hard stone like granite, andesite, etc] + hammer and chisel) -Eye hook (needs to be crafted at smithable temperatures in the grid with the stone pulverizer) -Manual pulverizer framework -Pulverizer caps -Pulley wheel (needs to be oiled with fat every so often) First, place down the 4-block tall framework. Put in the pulley wheel. Then, put in 2 rope, and attach the handle to it. Add the eye hook stone pulverizer. Add your caps. Once it has been assembled, place your crushable item on the base, and then pull down on the handle. It takes a bit, but then you can release it at full height to crush the item instantly. For items with a decimal chance to drop an item (iron nuggets with an 0.3 and the like), 10 must be placed in at once.

Seconded. Something like Project Zombiod's B42 mod settings where you can chose a preset (A set of mods enabled for a purpose, like the ones you only use on a specific server) and those automatically enable.

If you use BetterEr prospecting, the stone search mode helps.

Salt acquisition is at a weird point in progression. It's most useful state is using it to salt hides pre-copper age so that you can hold onto them and stuff them in a cellar until you get a saw to make barrels to soak them in. But salt is, with a few exceptions (ruins and traders) requires copper to mine. Pretty much all uses of salt are gatekept behind copper in some way (barrels, mining halite) but by the time you have barrels, you can just directly dump a hide inside without salting it. In terms of preservation, salt-related methods are more or less inferior to other methods.

Does anyone have advice for finding meteors?
InternetDragon replied to Valsalan's topic in Discussion
Get the BetterEr Prospecting mod, use the stone mode and search for it. If you get a reading, start using your map and look for circular holes. -
Do I get lead poisoning if i use lead solder?
