  1. Do you like choices? Sure you do, we all love options. With that said I proudly present to you a small mod I've created for Vintage Story to expand upon it's metals. This mod adds a lot of new metals most of which come with tools, weapons, armor, metal blocks and much more. Coke has been changed to a more realistic burning temperature to make melting nickel possible. Most newer metals are acquired by crushing ores in a pulverizer and combined in the crafting grid to make blends, these blends are than put in a bloomery to produce ingots or nuggets. I've added the ability to make blue steel, it's the same as steel but has increased durability and of course is a beautiful blue hue. To make blue steel you'll need to make some lye and put some saltpeter in it to make bluing solution, then just soak the steel in the solution. Aluminium is acquired through primitive hydrometallurgy, soaking crushed bauxite in water to make a concentrated solution then making bricks with the sediment, letting them dry then smelting them in a bloomery. Red phosphorus is acquired by first making some phosphate slurry, which is water and crushed phosphorite. Phosphate dust is made by combining crushed charcoal, quartz and phosphorite and cooking in a bloomery. Put the dust in the slurry to make a phosphate clay, then put the clay in a crock and toss it in a bloomery. White phosphorus is unstable and will revert back to phosphate dust unless you bake it into red phosphorus, crushed red phosphorus can substitute for blast powder in ore bombs. Damascus steel is acquired by putting steel back into the cementation furnace, real damascus steel is high carbon steel so this seemed fitting. Dolomite re-added MoreMetals.zip
  2. now that's just nice
  3. In the handbook, the cellar ice instructions have some spelling errors, not the end of the world but they do. It's just the 1st and 4th word.. pileapple lol
  4. should allow users to turn off topography? that's a feature I've seen in other games
  5. Sevtech modpack for MC removed the source water blocks and it made for funky results, it made me frustrated looking at the "holes" in the lake I was collecting from
  6. can't wait for some deer back in my game, someone pick this up and update it, I'm too noob at it still
  7. no, just tried again and it worked out, exact same ingredients as before, must be a me thing, just ignore this unless someone else reports soft dough issues
  8. Can't make pies out of soft dough, wouldn't let me put top dough on and when you pick up the pie after putting 4 ingredients in it just gives you all the items back, some are even invisible in your slot bar until you click them and some just disappear.
  9. now it's working in my main save which is all I wanted, I have EF at the top of my mod list, not sure if that helps but I got results, to get it at the top I removed all mods except EF, restarted the game and re-added all the other mods. Again I have no clue if that even does anything but it's working as of now for now Also now I can make broth but at a higher quantity than normal, isn't 4 the max bones usually allowed in the sauce pan at once? edit : pre-gel works now for me and raw gel, all the way to flavored gelatin works fine edit 2: also pilaf is working for me
  10. can you try going back into the save from the menu and see if it's still working?
  11. I got the same results, although I never tried to make pilaf. Salt and lard aren't simmer recipes he says.
  12. game version? 1.15.10
  13. switching to a newly spawned sauce pan removed the word cold from the progress bar though
  14. same, doesn't work
  15. I'll go poke around my main save, see if anything else is acting up
  16. can boil syrup the wording is all gone though, only way to know its working is the progress arrow
  17. only mod on is EF, still no broth does the water need to be in slot one? I'll try that nope Lard works water boiling to salt works
  18. does there have to be solid blocks under the soil too? Or can it be more soil? I put bricks down there just incase and my 7x7 is working, using 1.15.10
