I'm deleting the game, I cannot be trusted with it.

I re-downloaded it some two weeks ago after realising I still had it installed after downloading and trying it originally around a year ago.

I have spent 82 hours in the game.

I have obtained a ton of iron, repaired a full Blackguard set, fought through the archives and devastation...

Enough is enough. I need to delete this game for my own sanity and to avoid it entirely consuming my life because it is just too cozy and fun.

Perhaps I will return in a year. Hopefully by then I'll be able to experience the new armour system.

Edit: I rolled a pretty good seed so figured I'd share it. (570508761)

Plenty of tin up north by the Agriculture trader, and a ton of brown coal, lead and bismouth by the Treasure Hunter, also limestone by the Survival trader you spawn by

My brother (or sister) in Vintage... I literally delete the game every few months.

Download --> play 50 hours straight --> delete --> wait 2-3 months --> repeat.

See you in three?

80 hours is rookie numbers bro you gotta pump those numbers up. Honestly I'm quite happy with how much there is to do in the game, but I can understand it can feel a bit time consuming. If I was shorter on time I would've definitely bounced off of a few games lately.

I'm waiting for an actual official response. Every organization has bad actors in their midst, where the rubber hits the road is how they deal with it when they're discovered. And the principle of charity suggests that Maltiez was not deliberately malicious, just deeply misguided.

So I wiped a bunch of mods, and will continue playing the game, for now. And taking some antacids for that burning sensation in my gut.

I don't think that drama is what the OP is referring to--it's meant to be a joke about how fun the game is to play. Regarding the recent drama with certain individuals, it seems to be a rather inflammatory topic, so probably best to be careful about bringing it up while the facts are still being sorted out and people are intent on reacting emotionally rather than rationally.

Yo did I miss some drama? Someone inform me of the drama please?

not in this thread. this thread has nothing to do with the incident. this thread is about a user discovering that VS is addictive and wonderful.

It's much more practical to simply rename the game directory to something bizarre, and then in a few months when you want to start another new world you just have to go find the installation you still have! Also, you'll get to mumble things like, "Was it filed under 'Concrete Porn?'... ooh, no. No, that's not Vintage Story at all."

This one is interesting. I lost 60 lbs by learning self control.

But it didn't work with vintage story. It must be deleted. Please show me the way... lol

I know what you mean.  I've deleted a dozen or more games from my phone.  It's much, much too convenient for games.
