  2. Jam is a funny thing. I've wanted to utilize it in Expanded Foods, but since it's a meal and not an item or even a block... that makes it a lot harder to take advantage of.
  3. This is my kind of discussion. Wish I could get this kind of analysis for Expanded Foods.
  4. I think the modifiers are WAY too far, as well. It seems extremely arbitrary and pointless to include. Seriously, I get to iron age and lose HP? No thanks, bro.
  5. I like the idea of actively doing something to help out, but I like the thought of setting up magic/temporal wards more than repairing walls. Dashing around the base to keep weird Lovecraft effigies on fire or buffing other players through sacrificing drifter corpses they leave behind would be neat.

This reminds me of an idea I saw recently - something along the lines of a 'luxury' or 'sanity' mechanic, where having nice food or sitting in chairs or decorating your base gives you buffs that increase your maximum temporal stability or make it fall slower or whatever. If one way to avoid the danger of storms is to make your base nicer and more appealing, then that would appeal to more 'domestic' players that don't enjoy fighting stuff.

  10. I agree, honestly. It makes sense for grain to last a long time, but vegetables? Maybe longer than fruit or meat, but still...
  11. But that's already in the game! Wait... pickled eggs aren't in the game...
  12. So we've got cured meat and pemmican for protein, dried fruit and pemmican for fruit, and hardtack for grain... what are some long-term forms of vegetables and dairy I could add? I know some kinds of cheese last a very long time. I think I had a brick of parmesan in my fridge for a couple years. Pickled veggies are alright, but I'm thinking of something that lasts drastically longer.
  13. Oh! Hardtack is grain that's intended for long journeys, as well. You may want to consider those, they keep FOREVER.
  14. I recommend bringing some juice or wine bottles along with you, that should keep for a long time, too.
  15. No, and I don't plan on that. You SHOULD be able to bread and fry it, though.
  16. I don't think so, no. Only meat nuggets and aged meat nuggets. I guess I can add cured meat nuggets to the recipe as well.
  17. I love how most of your suggestions are "the ground isn't hard enough, it should break my knees more".
  18. There should really be debuffs or other temporary penalties for dying. I know your Max HP already gets reduced, but like you said - that doesn't really matter early-game since you haven't eaten enough food to really have that much HP.
  19. Updated to 1.3.7! Now includes the 1.15 woods and I changed the stone foot path/rock edging recipes.
  20. Oh! Oh my, those fences look BEAUTIFUL. It looks like I'll need to fix up the wooden paths as well, and add the new wood. Thanks for reminding me!
