    Monsters

Here's how you kill them: You walk up and hit one at the edge of your attack range, then back away before it can attack. Unless you're trapped in a cave with no room to maneuver, you can handle it. Might want something better than flint, though. If that's not enough, here: https://mods.vintagestory.at/show/mod/166 https://mods.vintagestory.at/show/mod/169
  2. Does it work in singleplayer? You're on 1.3.14, right? Also, you don't cook berries in a pan.
  3. I think the resin would balance out, but I'm not 100% sure. It depends on how the game handles mixing liquids - I think I've seen milk spoilage balanced out when you put new milk in an old container. As for the saucepan... I'm not sure exactly what the issue is, because I can make it just fine. Mods, no mods... it just works.
  4. It works, I swear!
  5. It starts after 24 hours... I actually don't think changing the time affects pre-existing items. I noticed that when I was messing around with food, maybe the same applies to resin?
  6. It comes out like this. Nothing crazy happens, it just turns into resin. Works in the saucepan, too. It would be in the barrel's inventory after curing, yes.
  7. If you put wine in barrels, it'll turn into vinegar or rot, depending on if you seal it. The only way to get wine is to bottle it or find some other way to drastically reduce its perish timer.
  8. I can't eat any more, but I must. I have no choice!
  9. That's correct... can you take a screenshot?
  10. I didn't want it to be too easy, but... yeah, I might've gone overboard. Go to assets/expandedfoods/itemtypes/liquid/softresin.json and change transitionHours to 432 instead. That's 2 months in game.
  11. I don't even think you need to put it in a barrel, although it's a good place to store it. You don't need to do anything to it except wait for 61 days.
  12. Yes. The bottles are a bit weird, you can't be looking at anything in order to drink from them. They operate sort of like the Carry Capacity mod. I think you have to have the hammer above the meat, specifically?

    Scary music

That means you had the right idea, because that wasn't music...
  14. You can drink carrot juice. Soup is a vanilla game meal, just throw vegetables and juice in a cooking pot. You can already use a hammer to smash meat. I... don't know what's up with that bug yet.
  15. You didn't delete your old, stable installation to make way for this new, unstable update, right?
  16. Hotfix! Updated to 1.3.14! Lard & food oil can be used to make oiled hides Fixed sap & juice saucepan combustible properties
  17. I also get some weird stuff if I smash redmeat too quickly... I have no idea why it would be doing this, though. I think I've seen similar issues in vanilla recipes?
  18. That should really be in the base game and not a mod, tbh.
  19. I think I'm going to add Halva next, but it looks like there are a lot of recipes for it online... does anyone have any input as to what should go in this stuff?
  20. I think this one's on our end - I can't make sap anymore either. I can if I go back to 1.3.12, though... must've been something in the code update. I'm also having some weirdness with making lard. However, placing a different saucepan and a different chunk of fat seems to fix it?
  21. And here I have people telling me things are too high-resolution! Those textures you're complaining about are vanilla textures, too.
  22. You're cooking it in the saucepan, right?
