Change number of day per month after serveur already seen gameplay
KahvozeinsFang replied to Just1's topic in Questions
If you still want to change days per month you can also just use a command. I don't think anything too bad would happen. Probably just the food you already have would spoil. I've never changed the days per month to be shorter, only ever increased them /worldconfig daysPerMonth [number] -
Change number of day per month after serveur already seen gameplay
KahvozeinsFang replied to Just1's topic in Questions
Well you can just use commands to change the hunger rate and food spoil times. /worldconfig foodSpoilSpeed [multiplier] 1.0 is default 0.5 is half speed. /worldconfig playerHungerSpeed [multiplier] 1.0 is default 0.5 is half speed And be sure to restart the server after you use the commands. -
No problem

I really doubt they add any more "free" food sources in the game. They've been trying their hardest to make sure we're starving for the first year
-
/worldconfig toolMiningSpeed [multiplier] A multiplier of 1 is default speed. A multuplier of 2 breaks blocks twice as fast. You can go up to like 99 but I wouldn't recommend it

Literally what's the point then? High risk with almost no reward. That is completely the opposite of what it should be. Higher risk deserves higher reward.

Some rock types don't spawn copper. You may have to go pretty far to find a rock type that does. I had a world with a limestone spawn. Oh good I thought, turns out malachite which is a type of copper does spawn in limestone, but it's rare to find on the surface. I had to travel like 2000 blocks before I found a place that spawns native copper. Chickens are crazy. I usually don't even bother with them, but when I have I just figured they layed eggs when I fed them. Probably best for you not to worry about them either unless you picked the hunter class because you will want those feathers for arrows. They only give you like 1 or 2 poultry meat. Not worth the effort. If you're looking for the best animal to breed for a consistent food source, it's pigs. They can have up to like 6 babies at a time I think and there is a low chance of getting another male. So most of those 6 babies will be female, when they grow up each of them can have up to 6 babies so it can get out of hand very fast. But the best part is you will have excessive amounts of red meat, hides to make leather, raw fat and bones. -
I started a world in 1.22 just a few days ago and I was just randomly exploring a cave and I found exposed halite like 25 blocks down inside the cave. First time I've ever found halite with even looking for it. I mined up two stacks of it and promptly left the cave, forgetting to mark the location on my map. Now I can't find it again

I'm no expert, but if I had to wager a guess what is messing with land claims, it would have to be the claim manager

1.22.0-rc.6 - Fishing, Mechanisms, Metalworking and More!

I have entire rows of berries that display `trait-` on them. Every single cutting has it, no matter the type of berry. Occasionally is kind of an understatement I only took cuttings from berry bushes with no traits at all, so maybe that has something to do with it. -
It saves all the information of the other players in your save, the character doesn't reset. I played LAN worlds with my niece and we never had a problem with her losing anything in her inventory when she logged back into the world. You shouldn't have trouble at all.
-
Also I'm playing 1.22rc5

I just found this bug independently in my own single player world with turning flax twine into cloth. The items were deleted when I logged back in just like in your save. But drag speed didn't affect what I did. I even put the twine in one at a time and it still happened. Probably is something that needs to be fixed though. Because who knows what would have happened if I tried to craft some sails. Would they have disappeared too? I don't know

1.22.0-rc.5 - Fishing, Mechanisms, Metalworking and More!
KahvozeinsFang replied to Tyron's topic in News
I knew something was wrong. I have never had crops take so long to grow. My Flax was 8/9 and 29% growth speed. -
Yep there is a vanilla command to allow partial or full privileges on a claim on a per player or group basis. I've used it for letting my niece do whatever she needed in my claim public server. I also had a tavern/pub that I set to public use only. I just needed to use locks on doors for areas I didn't want people to go

I didn't even know the devs or possibly YouTubers play TOPs. I mostly started playing on it because it had more than two people connected at a time, no horrible mods to have to deal with and it wasn't likely to just go offline never to be seen again.
-
I'll also add, I've played TOPS. Connecting from North America, the experience was not good. The ping was horrible. Riding an elk was faster than the server could load terrain. So I had to stop every chunk and wait 30 to 45 seconds for the next chunks to load.

Many people don't like to join just any random server. I definitely wouldn't. Because I don't want to play with magic or dragons. Or have to deal with some guy in a basement on a power trip. This is the only multiplayer game I've ever played that has ONE official server. I play another indy game that has official servers for almost every continent. Totaling around 20 or 30 servers. They can get bulk deals with many server companies. Or even promote a company as an "official VS server provider" there are lots of things that can be done instead of have a single official server. As for server moderation, they can have volunteers from the community do it. That's exactly what Keen Software House does with the above mentioned 20 or 30 servers for their game Space Engineers.

Use multiple campfires. I cooked 64 flint between 4 campfires and it didn't take too long. And don't get too far away, you'll lose all your preheating progress. This might be a bug though. Also, for some reason peat heats the stacks much slower than coals. It was like one degree every few seconds. It even felt like it was getting slower the closer it got to 900c. As soon as it got to like 850c I switched to brown coal and it started to speed up.

bug? 1.22 Medium fertility farmland(?)/flax(?) nerfed/bugged?
KahvozeinsFang replied to Calmest_of_lakes's topic in Discussion
When I first bought this game in 2024 I joined a non-modded server and it was July on the server. I was able to get one harvest in before any cold damage to my crops. Now in my single player world in 1.22 I found lots of seed and planted them no later than the 7th of May. As of today I'm in mid November and only been able to harvest some turnips so far. It certainly takes longer than the missing 10% of time they "fixed". Every growth stage uses nutrients which in turn slows down growth speed. I think it shouldn't be a hard requirement to use fertilizer just for one harvest a year. Especially with all the extra grain we'll have to be planting now. -

They definitely don't. Not without fertilizer anyway. My Flax is at 8/9 and down to 29% growth speed. -
I really don't see a problem with using AI to make a mod or art for a mod page. I've used AI to make some of the cover images on mods I've uploaded to NexusMods. I've had people complaining about it, but my opinion is if they don't like it they don't have to use it. Some people get nasty about it and earn themselves a ban from downloading any of my mods. As for making a whole mod using AI, I've had lots of mod requests and I'd rather someone just use AI to make a mod they want rather than ask me to make it for them. Usually I don't have the time to do it.
