  1. Very cool that you're showing off knapping! I'd probably use the auto knapping and smithing mod because I can see that cramping me up after a while.
  2. My solution is hop in random caves looking for ruins. There's been instances where crates had limestone or ores that I was looking for. If you find a translocator, it's like 2 ruins for the price of one! That, and the new region may have exactly what you need!
  3. I always see stuff regarding cold resistance and alcohol, but I'll be the outlier and say it should do the opposite! In reality, all it does is make you feel warm, but it's actually cooling your entire body! There are far too many horror stories about people going out to pee in the cold at parties, only to be found dead from hypothermia! It's no joke, and the misinformation needs to be stopped!
  4. Does it spin out and stop? If so, give it some time. It might just be calculating the amount of power it needs before starting again. Other than that, I'm not sure there's any sort of hard cap that causes that to happen.
  5. You can also invest in basket traps for passive meat. Flax grain has terrible satiety, so it's wonderful for catching chickens! Tossing spears into ponds for fish was also my go to early meat resource.
  6. As you progress you'll be drowning in copper, and the helve hammer will make plates effortlessly. It's mostly about esthetics, I personally find them prettier than oil lanterns which are considerably more economic. I also like to nab every single torch holder I find in ruins, they make for beautiful rough light spots alongside your pathways.
  7. True! As it stands currently, it's just an invisible zone that you have to have at the back of your mind at all times. Having a visual representation for it, besides your gear turning left slowly, would be great!

  9. How about of instead of losing HP, it reduces your max air capacity for a few hours.
  10. I saw the mod for the pottery wheel and I'm all for it! Automation to make the early mundane stuff quicker to accomplish is alright by me! Now I just hope they add custom glaze for pots in the future as well!
  11. Maybe have them use phosphorus as a primary nutrient? It may not be accurate to their actual needs, but it would be different for crop rotation I suppose.
  12. Honestly, I'd prefer if story progress dungeons were more puzzle based than boss based. The combat is serviceable at best, and the bosses are nothing more than a gear check.
  13. What if unstable regions were indicators of cool loot caches and ruins hidden underground, potentially DEEP underground? That would be a cool trade off for having a region a bit cut off.
  14. Something to help with orientation, moss always grows on the north side of trees.
  15. I've disabled surface spawning for rust enemies as well. I've found that it's always more of an annoyance than an actual threat. I absolutely loved bumping into a group of drifters whenever I did literally anything.
  16. Man, now I want a chocobo mod, music and everything.
  17. I can just imagine all those drifters flinging themselves off of cliffs just to get at you tumbling after they bit the dust.
  18. It was either go into creative to place torches or download a mod that enables fullbright. I chose the former. Believe what you will. When I saw this the first time, I thought the chunk in front of me bugged out. It was just a pitch black void with monster moans coming out of it.

  20. I absolutely love building little dwellings for villagers in Block Game. Seeing what's possible in VS has me motivated to eventually start a modded playthrough centered around building towns and infrastructure. I kinda want to wait for the upcoming teased update before starting all over from scratch again.
