    Multiplayer survey

I am always incredibly wary of the "we should include this in a game so it'll sell more" aspect of game development. I actually don't care how much VS sells as long as the game is good. Having more difficult monsters (that you can STILL DISABLE) is going to be something the game MUST deal with at some point, or else not have combat at all.

Too safe. I would prefer more dangerous mobs that can swarm, have ranged attacks, tear down/walk through blocks, burrow, fly, have AOE attacks, etc, etc.
  3. Because "cheesing" something, by definition, is a degenerate strategy. If someone handles their first night in VS by digging into the dirt, sealing themselves in a hole, and walking away for 10-15 minutes - that's not something that should be in the game because it discourages playing the game. Nerd poles are another method of avoiding gameplay, which is why the mechanics surrounding the problem should be corrected so that people do not want or feel the need to stand on a pillar for 10 minutes.
  4. Given that drifters can spawn in them, I disagree.
  5. Well, there's ProspectorInfo, but all that does is visualize the propick data to make it a bit easier to understand. At the end of the day, you've just got to learn how to use it. There's plenty of guides on it, both here and on Youtube.
  6. There is no pillar "strategy". It is not even a tactic. It's just abusing AI and the poor state of enemies in this game. If just having mobs with ranged attacks invalidates such a simple "strategy", then it should have never existed to begin with.
  7. All I need now are metal ovens!
  8. That's... a new one. What do you mean, you can't eat them?
  9. Ah, yes, here's the problem: If I make the recipe just water, flour, and bread starter... that's also one of the regular dough recipes. It overwrites that. I can do this, though.
  10. I swear that's what I originally wanted to do, but it didn't work out for some reason. I'll look into it again. That's not a bug, juice will never cure on its own in barrels - you have to seal it in order to turn it into wine. An item has to finish curing BEFORE the perish timer starts, or else it will rot. The bottle reduces the perish timer enough to allow juice to cure into wine (and I think sealing a cauldron in cellars does the job, too). Oh snap! Okay, I'll get a release out within the next week or so, hopefully.
  11. Oh snap, did Xandu already release a version of XSkills with all the stuff that's ready to go? They gave me the patches I need over here, so my next update will have them.
  12. Morrowind armor system when?
  13. Oh, so you pumped it out in like, a day!
  14. Did you seriously pump the mod out in like, a week?
  15. Temporal storms were great in the first place?
  16. There's a reason games don't even come with manuals anymore. And it's terrible.
  17. Nope. Just keep waiting.
  18. That sounds pretty reasonable to me.
  19. Well, don't keep them to yourself! Post it!
  20. Well, given that it's still working, I guess it's still supported. The mod's simple enough to where, if needed, someone else could fix it if it gets broken by an update somehow.
  21. Supported how? It works fine.
  22. Will this apply to, uh, perishables too?
  23. Anyone caught landing outside of the designated landing towers will be shot, thrown out of said tower, and shot again!
  24. It's fine if they LOOK cool, though. Right?
