Did they change the way torches are made in the new update?
Sparkle Kitti replied to Blissful_Rampage's topic in Questions
Yeah, I tried the old way and was wondering why they were taking so long to make. So I pressed H and typed in torch and saw the new recipe. Personally, I feel like this way makes more sense. The wiki hasn't been updated yet. -
I was killed by a drifter and when I respawned I was standing in a tree block with leaves on my upper half and tree blocks above and to all sides of me.

When I stream I love viewer interaction

vs 1.15.0-rc.2 VSHUD 2.0.10 (Formerly WaypointUtils)

.lightutil lightlevel 7 That should work. -
I'd prefer that the small one works on all sharpenable tools just with a lesser effect or a shorter duration, making you need to use it on a regular basis.

This is also good for accessibility. Some people have difficulty holding down a key than others. A menu tab for accessibility would be a good way to implement making such things as optional settings. I feel that the sneak key would be the first priority for this treatment tho because it's easier to hold control than shift because of where the buttons are placed.

My point was that for that to really be of much use you'd need to have more than a few people playing on a server. It's more of a hundreds or thousands of players kind of thing. But you could try bringing it of in the mods section and maybe a modder will see the value of tweaking the map to show other players better than it does now.

The game would need to be turned into an MMO for that

Temporally affected echo chamber (v1.12.12, v1.12.13)
Sparkle Kitti replied to Tyron's topic in News
It's so cool how the sound of it changes in the video. Definitely ups the creep factor of temporal storms. -
A nice feature to add to the game would be the ability to pick up chickens, rabbits, and maybe raccoons and foxes. You could make it so that you take a small amount of ongoing damage to reflect the wild animal trying to escape.

I'd prefer steam power come first. If/when electrical power is brought to the game I hope it won't be as simple as finding "redstone" and using it as is.

There are times that I like to mute or reduce all my sounds from the game without muting my entire computer. I found when I was trying to reduce the sound of the constant rain where I settled (Oregon lol) on our server, that none of the sliders affect it at all. That I reported in bugs, but it would be nice to have a master level slider so that I could mute or reduce the game sound as a whole rather than messing with the sliders that I have set where I generally like them.

What goes into debugging? Is it something that I could help with since I do have a Mac I could run it on?

I searched far and wide and couldn't find any. Then while digging a new charcoal pit just outside my fence... limestone. LOL

I used cob to top my walls and just replaced with path slabs
-
I figured it out. Slabs can be placed in the top part of the block space, and are not eligible spaces for spawning, unless they are path slabs. Not sure why that is.

Yes. I'm using it with 1.12.8 -
I saw somewhere someone say that mobs cant spawn on slabs either upper or lower. Something like that. I can't figure out how to make a slab place in any way but the lower half of a block. How do you place it on the upper half?

I also forgot to mention being able to add non food organic items as well such as flowers, hand baskets and sticks/wood if you get to where you just have way too much.

Mine rocks back and forth at my base. I think torches burn out faster and likely food spoils faster during a storm

Yay! Now I just have to stop getting time out errors
