having had to blindly dig up out of a cave system after all the torches got wet was a lesson that was learnt

personally feel that the "classes" don't give you good enough to outweigh the negatives for them. The best part of them is the assorted crafting things which you can happily make separate from the classes. Can see a use for classes if your playing on a server with several people being active together but I mostly play alone or with one or two friends and its not worth it (previous server we did have them and it was a right struggle for along time to get enough food for a Blackguard)

Tin VS Bismuth, what bronze pickaxe do you prefer to use?
ArgentLuna replied to Nerdlin Geeksly's topic in Discussion
Whatever is around. I upped the tin spawn on the current world after the last one produced enough Tin to make 1 pick and Anvil -
I have a ton of Crates and they are great for how I like to organize stuff.

Would be nice to not have to chase and hope it runs into a lake

Even if not 3 by 3 having existent larger doors be a texture match to the normal doors would be nice ~ presently using a 2x2 and a 1x2 on a Barn and the 2x2 has a different look despite being the same wood

Because equine oversaturation is thing ~ game where you get a mount its highly likely to be a horse (Big props to Final Fantasy for having Bipedal birds be the default) Its also never the more interesting horses ~ ie the Draught or ponies just the bog standard "horse" of racing or show jump size and look Fantasy is the Drifters and such, everything else has a real analogue.

And here we are in a Game that till now hasn't had them but has other large quadrupeds and is a FANTASY game with no bearing on what "real life" did/ has done. Game also doesn't need cats either, certainly of the domesticated feline types, there is a plethora of interesting animals to put in a game outside of the "typical" includes and since its a Fictional world they can have them be acting non "normal ~ ie the wolves/ bears being more aggressive than what they may be in "real life", Elk being ridden etc. Id love to see Megafauna used for somethings even if just atmospheric wildlife with no "use" to to the player

Why not, horses are so damn over done and in a game with other creatures use them. I had expected rams to be the mounts so there would be a reason to keep high gen rams. Honestly I'm disappointed that they are even adding the horse.

Why change it for one because you are tired of doing it over anything else, don't want to loot them all then don't or don't kill them all. Its a choice your making and either way and not a game changing issue in need of altering. As above use a mod.
-
Then may aswell make every creature just drop its loot since its "too bothersome" to decide to make the effort to collect loot on the off chance it has the shiny item... its a thing you choose to do, you don't have to loot them.

Till I get chests I try to not have much but once I do I store things that are similar in chests until there its evident that there is enough of it to get its own crate (I have found so many aged ones in ruins) once the crate is full then it depends on what it is whether I keep any excess {i.e. is it valuable or not)

Play enough and you will be leaving dirt wherever because you don't anymore at home

Better use of existing alloys before any new alloys
-
Use a tool rack and cope that you cant turn it sideways

Lanterns are forever, they don't break after being "on" for a while. Outside of my first one typically every other lantern I make is made of molybdochalkos. Never bothered with coloured ones but quartz is so prolific its essentially infinite.

Change the world creation settings. There will be some that will make it more smoother (off the top of my head i cant recall what the settings are called but they will be there somewhere)

What does a Cow add that isn't already in, existent animals could also be used for those tasks than mere adding a cow for sake of having a bovine, same with a horse. Horses are so over used in a transport role, add Equines but make them a hostile force like Rusthorses that drifters ride or something. Megafauna inspired creatures ~ plenty of Marsupials in that lot for variance that can fill roles of Large predators Swap Rhino for Hippo and you may be onto something

That helps with a question i was pondering

Similar thing, found a large vein of pink marble in a area that was shot through with spires of Chalk, slate and Bauxite all twisted together

Been doing since I started playing even after I found out you didn't need to do it I for the most part keep on doing because it feels right.

Yes, an example of there already being a pest system in the game. But i think the OP was more aiming for say spontaneous mice and then cats in your cellar to deal with the mice over existent animals in the world being drawn to your items
