  1. I said I would get this out this weekend, so naturally I'd do it on Monday. Well, here's another pre-release. A lot more should be working than before, but the nutrition values are still a bit wonky. I THINK all of the crashing should be gone now. Please let me know if you run into any problems.   2. I'm not sure. A lot of code has changed so I'll need to make a world in 1.15 and update it to 1.16 and see what happens. I think it'll mostly be fine?
  3. I love them, but they're a bit TOO blocky. Maybe we could get away with increasing cloud fidelity so they're made up of MORE blocks so things look smoother?
  4. I think I'd like it if more things were adjusted for yearly scale instead of monthly or whatever things are at now. Getting big grain harvests and bagging giant sacks of meat a few times a year sounds more fun than doing it all the time. But that's a discussion for a different topic.
  5. Nerf food production, make food better, make starvation kill you in weeks instead of days, and add the ability to gain/lose weight so it affects your combat and movement stats. This game excels at doing things with precision, care, and forethought. Nutrition should be no different, and nutrition should feed back into combat at the bare minimum, and other systems if we can swing it. One wolf should be able to get me enough meat to last for days, not a single meal - but it should also be able to kill me if I'm stupid about fighting it (which they do, lol).
  6. I love games where I'm kicked when I'm down. Starvation should be a threat, at the VERY LEAST in the beginning of the game and during your first winter. The current system is pretty boring, IMO. Eat 200 berries or 200 red meats, it doesn't really matter as long as you eat a lot of the same thing. The extra HP is a bit nice, I guess.

  8. What exactly were you doing and what broke? I've been able to make stuff just fine, but what I have is a lot different than what was posted here a few weeks ago. I should also hopefully be able to get another pre-release out this weekend. Things still aren't all fixed, but I think they're MOSTLY fixed!

  15. Wow, I don't envy translating 5000+ lines of text. But to answer your question, no. I will probably remove mixed juice for now and add some new text, and a bit of text for the saucepan will be changed, but that's it. Thanks for your help!

  21. No, but I can probably get another version out for testing soon. SpearAndFang is helping me with the bottles/bottle rack and right now I'm converting all the liquids over to the new standardization. It's going to be interesting to figure out these new nutrition values...
  22. Yeah, I'm trying to not change things TOO much for you guys. I like wine curing, myself. It takes longer than putting juice in a barrel anyway, so I don't think it'll pose any balance issues.
  23. I need some input: With the new way wine-making works, it looks like the only way to get wine is through barrels. Should I keep the cure timer from Expanded Foods so juice that doesn't start to perish before 3 weeks turns into wine?
