Cooking 101, again. Also, I've wrapped up compatibility! We're in the final stretches, I'm just going to get the remapping working so people's food stores don't disappear, then I'm reworking the handbook guides to try and make more sense. SOON

We've got to standardize a way of saying "1 item in 4 slots" so it's separate from "4 items in 1 slot". Sure, you can put it like that, but... we can do better, right?

Wait, they were literally cooking rock to make it easier to mine? Why am I not surprised by this?

What about when you actually cooked it? -

Unable to place Ingots and Work Items into Crucibles
l33tmaan replied to Cynder's topic in Bugs (archived)
This is not a bug. It's a feature! I believe you're now supposed to take a chisel to your ingots to break them down first. -

I had some issues with compatibility and kind of had to revamp that entire structure, plus Acorns changed the way its bread works so I've had to work on that, as well. I think it should be smooth sailing from here on out. I hope some screenshots can tide you over.

1.16.0+ BackpackPack- Improving backpack progression.
l33tmaan replied to Mr1k3's topic in Mod Releases
How does this compare with The Advanced Backpack Construction System? Looks more resource-intensive, for better or for worse. -
Updated to 1.3.8! Fixed some weird texture issues when snow fell on blocks.

I believe all the meals are in Cooking 101.

I do, actually. I think that's where we're experiencing a disconnect.

A new player can't look at a sword and see that one deals more damage than the other? Seriously? There aren't different damage types or multiple ways of using it, there are literally 2 things that matter: How far away you can strike, and how much you hurt. In both instances, higher numbers are better. There are already attack tiers, even. The framework is here. We can use it.

1.16.0 Necessaries - now with a repairing ability! [1.1.1]

But the Freezer is only 1x1x1 blocks! I'd imagine a whole fridge would be 1x2x1. -
Armor and weapons already display what stats they have, though. If a gold sword obviously does less damage than even a copper one, then people can make informed decisions without a big gaudy "HEY THIS WEAPON IS BAD DON'T USE IT" warning.

Where's the fun in that?

I remember there were a couple mods that added them to worldgen... they might be broken, though.

How can you say "tools and armor are fine" but I can't make a golden sword to match my gold armor?
