  1. Hey, I love this mod. It should be in the base game. But it isn't and for whatever reason, I can't actually smith anything anymore. Here's the info from my server-main.txt. All I did in this instance was load in, hammer away at a hot ingot (which did not turn into a pick), and log out.
  2. Updated to 1.3.0! This mod now includes More Wooden Paths. I've also added various road edgings and fixed the snow texture not appearing on blocks (I think). I don't know why there's a visual bug with the corner edge shadows, though. I'll look into that.
  3. Oh man, I've been breaking people's items for no reason? Very helpful stuff, I'll give it a shot!
  4. No, no, I've added my own roads, but they don't currently have snow and free variants. If I add those variants in, then it would break any of my existing roads since they wouldn't have those variants, right? That's bad. I would prefer it if when someone installed the next version of More Roads, it overwrote the old non-snow roads with the new, snowy roads so people don't have giant swathes of ? blocks going from one village to another.
  5. Sorry, I wasn't very clear. I meant the roads from my More Roads mod. Currently they're like vanilla roads and don't get snowed on, but I might want to change that. But given that they're the same shape as vanilla roads and would therefore be hidden in the snow... I'm not totally certain. This seems intentional to me.
  6. That's very interesting. Let's say I wanted to split my own roads into snow/free variants without destroying all the existing ones. Would that be possible?
  7. But you'll still have all of them bundled for those of us who do like all of them, right?
  8. Updated to 1.2.1, visual bug with the stairs was fixed and I doubled the output of the temporal road recipes. EDIT: I've been thinking about rolling More Wooden Paths into this mod, since they serve pretty similar functions. Would that upset anybody?
  9. You're the best, dude. Thanks!
  10. YOU'VE NEVER CHISELED ANYTHING? Wow, you're missing out!
  11. Hey! Do you think you can do a plain wooden variant of your chairs? I'd like to have my pub look nice, but not too modern. Plus I think they could double as outdoor wooden benches, which is nice.
  12. Don't you hate it when that happens?
  13. Doesn't LazyTweaks already add a bunch of stick recipes? You might try asking over in that thread if they can add in bamboo as a component.
  14. I just tested this out and it works on my singleplayer world, but not on the multiplayer server I visit. We're both on 1.13.4, could that be the discrepancy?
  15. This makes moving feel so much better, thanks! I'm not sure how much work you're planning on doing to this, but if you could somehow make it so that I could climb a 2 block wall by jumping at it, then I bet it'd feel even sweeter.
  16. That's useful. I wish there was a more convenient way to do that, because I had no idea any of that existed in the game. I only even found out about waypoints by accident, perhaps some documentation on this would help.
  17. I would appreciate being able to make a 'template' waypoint I can smack down anywhere. I like my little fancy golden pickaxes to mark places for me to mine, but it's slightly tedious to type in in several dozen times.
  18. Updated to 1.2! I've added stairs and slab variants to all the road types. Not sure how I didn't notice that before. Clay roads now require lime instead of stone paths - the paths kept crashing me when I would look them up in multiplayer. Not sure why. Stone and Temporal roads now require less stone to make.
  19. That's way too much, man. Any recipes or functions within the game should go off of Celsius within the code for consistency's sake. Maybe at the very end you add an option that changes the display output from Celsius to Fahrenheit, but coding both temperatures for everything is... not desirable.
  20. "Grinding is the game" might sound derogatory, but it's true. If you can't have fun scrounging up just enough copper to make an anvil so you can smack pixels for 3 minutes just to make a pickaxe, then this is probably not going to be an enjoyable game for you. I am the kind of idiot who will happily sit in front of a wall chiseling it for 20 minutes just so it looks nice. For some reason, that is fun to me. Everything I do in this game has a sense of weight to it.
  21. Drifters are really stupid, you can easily run past them most of the time. Heck, hit 'em a couple times and sometimes they run off on their own.
  22. Oh my god, yes. I assume something like this will happen whenever the firepit gets updated, but I need to be able to stick 64 lime into a firepit and make it into quicklime without agonizingly smelting every individual lime from cool to smelted. It's ludicrous and the waste of fuel makes me feel bad.
  23. Big update! Concrete is made in barrels now, and all of the blocks have received a visual overhaul (upgrade?). Temporal blocks are now made with much less metal, too. Hopefully you didn't make any of the old ones, because those are all broken now. Sorry!
  24. Yeah... maybe I'll get around to taking a look at that. We'll see.
  25. Working pemmican can be located in the Trail Food mod. Which will some day have more than just pemmican, hopefully.
