  1. Sorry, I wasn't very clear. I meant the roads from my More Roads mod. Currently they're like vanilla roads and don't get snowed on, but I might want to change that. But given that they're the same shape as vanilla roads and would therefore be hidden in the snow... I'm not totally certain. This seems intentional to me.
  2. That's very interesting. Let's say I wanted to split my own roads into snow/free variants without destroying all the existing ones. Would that be possible?
  3. I would also appreciate being able to hit the damage numbers of the feared and terrible wolf before I start making magic swords or whatever.

    Yeah, it's a byproduct of adding new variants of any item. Happened with wooden paths, happens here. I don't think there's a way around it since the variants are technically entirely separate items. But the bushmeat pemmican is identical to Rue's aside from that. My attitude when this stuff happens has shifted to 'just turn your world creative for a few minutes and fix it'. Just replace those ? blocks with bushmeat pemmican and you're good to go.
  5. That's... weird, especially with the vanilla barrels not working. Is the error reporter saying anything?
  6. This isn't content, but it goes in with party/faction systems - different chat levels like MMOs have. Or at least a distinction between global chat and local chat. Sometimes I just want to talk to the people near me and not the whole server.

    This one is just the original that's tweaked a bit and put into a .zip file, you just need this for now.
  8. Ctrl+click will dump out a single liter of water instead of 10.

    Not very, turns out. I hope OP doesn't mind, since this mod is already a rewrite of Pemmican, but I think I was able to add in redmeat and poultry pemmican variants. It breaks the old pemmican, but... oh, well. You could just as easily stick to a single pemmican type that uses any kind of meat to make, but then you'd be wasting saturation if you used anything but bushmeat, which kind of defeats the point, no? @Rue Feel free to use whatever you want from this file!   11. Updated to 1.2.1, visual bug with the stairs was fixed and I doubled the output of the temporal road recipes. EDIT: I've been thinking about rolling More Wooden Paths into this mod, since they serve pretty similar functions. Would that upset anybody?
  12. Sometimes all you need to do is sleep on it and take a look later. The culprit was within the block files for my stairs: sideopaqueByType : { "*-up-north-*": { all:false, down:true, north: true }, "*-up-west-*": { all:false, down:true, west: true }, "*-up-south-*": { all:false, down:true, south: true }, "*-up-east-*": { all:false, down:true, east: true }, }, Removing the 'north/west/south/east: true' bits made it look normal. I thought this was the case last night, but I only removed one of them when I guess I should have removed them all.

  16. For my stairs I have a custom shape that's a bit shorter than the default, so it lines up with roads a bit better. Well, it has some unforeseen consequences: Any way I can fix this without making the stairs the default height?
  17. Hey! Do you think you can do a plain wooden variant of your chairs? I'd like to have my pub look nice, but not too modern. Plus I think they could double as outdoor wooden benches, which is nice.

  19. It's kind of annoying that you have to update all of the mods in your modpack just because the server you're on has updated them. I know people just post mods on the forums here, but it would be more user-friendly if servers automatically downloaded mods that you didn't have, or versions that matched the ones on the server, so I don't have to come back here every time I want to do that. Would that require an entirely new framework or something?
  20. Uh oh, that's not good. I guess something in the API changed during the update that affected how some recipes get output? I haven't really been around long enough for an update to bust one of my mods before, so I'm not really sure what's going on... plus I haven't updated yet. I'll keep a look out to see what's up.

  22. I fully agree, moving up stairs feels weird and slow at the moment. Now if you could climb regular blocks, then you could keep the janky movement for those...
  23. Doesn't LazyTweaks already add a bunch of stick recipes? You might try asking over in that thread if they can add in bamboo as a component.
