  1. This request used to be a feature in an earlier version of VS, at least the mushroom stubs
  2. Try Better Ruins, also Ancient Dungeons. Both are excellent and make use of 1.18's clutter
  3. Make sure the flowers are in range of the hive. I've built a soil platform 3 blocks under high tree hives and coated it in flowers. Put down a couple of skeps and the bees will take a day or two to figure it out.
  4. I think having a core mod makes sense, to include the tools and the basic meal tweaks. I would guess that if you were to break it out then you would go with food types - you'd have extended meats, extended veggies, extended breads, and extended dairy? The extended versions would have better preservation methods and more recipes. Wild farming might have to have its own add on, like extended spices. Someone might write an extended medicine add on as well, much like Mr1k3 did for better poultice. I use most of EF. The exceptions are tree saps and the dairy items as milk always takes me awhile to build up.
  5. Try Mr1k3's Preservation mod. Still works fine through 1.6.4
  6. Can other attributes be added to mushrooms? Speed boost, hunger modifier, nightvision, etc. I enjoy Deathcaps for fast travel home...
  7. Knife + any mushroom = chopped or prepared mushrooms which stack?
  8. I didn't realize how much I missed this till I didn't have it with the leather bug. Thanks for updating!!!
  9. I whipped up some blueberry syrup in the big cauldron, worked well. used ceramic bottles to bottle it: 1 with 1L and one with .25L. Placed the full one in a chest, then right clicked the second to move it to the chest and it stacked. Both bottles were now 1L of blueberry syrup.
  10. There are compatibility issues with leatherworking. You cannot go from any hide or hide piece to leather, except by scrapping a backpack.
  11. I've also noticed the duping on smashed meat. I have also had interesting experiences with making an herbal crust pie. I can have all ingredients on the hotbar, make the pie and pick it up in the hotbar, but if I move ingredients to inventory they will revert to their original amount and the pies will vanish when putting them in the oven. If I keep the pies in the hotbar and then add to the oven, they bake up. The dupe behavior also will go away after a bit of time or taking other actions.
  12. I still have Wild Goblins on, but this is way more in line with the world. Thank you!
  13. Mix, grain/protein if it's fish and rice, then add vegetable. Fish sauce would enhance the protein, and adding honey would probably add a bit of fruit if we're consistent with jam's logic. I'd really like to be able to spread honey or jam on bread. That's also another question: can fruit breads be a mix of grain and fruit?
  14. Is it technically possible or feasible to build a mod to explore, in a similar mechanic to prospecting, for caves or underground voids?
  15. Any reported conflicts with other mods? Trying to craft a crayon with powdered charcoal and a second with lapis lazuli, but using the clay/resin/pigment in the crafting grid is not producing anything.
  16. Disassemble for clothing? It's not super high priority with repair ability, but might be useful.
  17. remember that meteor that exploded over russia a few years back? If there's audio of that around it might be a good example to start.
  18. Snow is powdery. Ever tried walking in half meter deep snow, much less 1.5 meters? Only on thick hard crusted snow or packed snow could you jump on it. The snow sliding off of your roof might make such a pile, but animals move through snow, not on top of it. It should not convey a jump advantage, and it makes fences just become silly and negates the realism. And if you have 1.5 meters of snow, your sheep ain't moving out of the barn, much less going to jump their 1.5 meter fence, as evidenced by any animal agriculture anywhere with snowfall. A 2.5 meter fence is only to keep deer out of the garden.
  19. I had to do a full start instead of use the reload mods, now working as you intended. I also discovered that grass will burn when covered with snow, which is amusing. Thanks again!
  20. Until I read the latest bugfix on this mod, I had no idea how to repair clothing. Thank you!
  21. 22. The scorpion is creepy too, though I dislike not being able to destroy the bell.
  23. Snowfall allows animals to jump over fences and gates. Observed this with sheep and pigs, did not test with poultry and rabbits. 2 block high fences and dual gates are required to contain animals in snowfall.
